DAY 01  JAIPUR (2 NIGHTS)

Evening visit to Amer Fort with Sound and Light Show

Today, arrive in Jaipur. Popularly known as the ‘ Pink City ‘ because of the pink sandstone used in the buildings of the old walled city. Later in the evening we drive to Amer Fort, a 16th century fort around 20 mins from the main city. With dusk fall, the fort lights up and a sound and light show adds to the perfect night vibe of the fort. For dinner we head back to Jaipur city. Overnight in Jaipur.

DAY 02 JAIPUR: Block Printing Workshop, Visit City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal (photostop), Shopping in Bapu Bazaar

Let’s begin our day with a unique and enriching experience with an interactive block printing workshop where you can witness the different stages in the printing process. After a quick demo, you get to craft your own personalised creation by choosing from a variety of designs on wooden blocks and a range of colour. Follow this up with an authentic Rajasthani Thali lunch for the afternoon.In Jaipur we visit the City Palace and Museum, Jantar Mantar, an astronomical marvel and a quick photostop at Hawa Mahal, the icon of Jaipur City. You have rest of the evening free to explore the bustling Bapu Bazaar, from bangles and jewelleries, rugs & durries, mojari footwear to bandhani (tie and dye) kurtas and sarees, there’s something for everyone at Bapu Bazaar. Overnight in Jaipur.

DAY 03 JAIPUR – KARNIMATA RAT TEMPLE – BIKANER (1 NIGHT) (330KMS, APPROX 6HRS) 

After an early breakfast we check out & depart towards Bikaner.

Bikaner city lies on the northern point of the triangle of desert cities. Bikaner is another royal walled city dating back to 1486 AD. While other cities of Rajasthan are rich in lakes and pleasure pavilions, Bikaner seems quite bare in that respect. This desert town in the north of the state was founded on 1488 by Rao bika, a descendant of Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur. Enroute we make an interesting stop in the town of Deshnoke to visit the Karni Mata Temple- A temple dedicated to Rats. The temple is home to as many as 20,000 sacred rats, which live and are protected here. For the greatest blessing of all, keep an eye out for one of the few albino (white) rats, said to be manifestations of Karni Mata herself. Upon arrival at Bikaner, check in to your hotel. Later we visit Rajwada Safa House where you can enjoy a Traditional Safa (Turban, Headgear) tying experience and click some memorable photos.  Overnight in Bikaner.

DAY 04  BIKANER – JUNAGARH FORT – JAISALMER (2 NIGHTS) (331 KMS. APPROX 6 HRS)  

Today after breakfast, visit the impressive Junagarh Fort. Besides having a rich history, the Junagarh Fort is a feat of architecture, as this fort was built by 16 different rulers in different eras, truly a perfect example of beauty in diversity. The impressive Junagarh Fort stands with all its regal glory as an epitome of architectural brilliance. Later drive to Jaisalmer – The Golden City of Rajasthan. On arrival check in the hotel. Later in the evening we enjoy a puppet show at Desert Cultural Museum followed by a rooftop dining experience at a local restaurant offering amazing views of Jaisalmer city and the fort. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

DAY 05  JAISALMER SIGHTSEEING 

After breakfast we set out for sightseeing of Jaisalmer.Visit Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Singh ki Haveli, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmalji ki Haveli, Bada Bagh and Gadisagar LakeNothing else in India is remotely similar to Jaisalmer. Its desert fort, which resembles a gigantic sandcastle. There are many havelis which can be found elsewhere in Rajasthan, but nowhere are they quite as exquisite as in Jaisalmer. Even the humblest shops and houses display something of the Rajput love of the decorative arts. The old city was once completely surrounded by an extensive wall, much of which has sadly been ripped away in recent times for building material. Some of it remains, however, including the city gates and, inside them, the massive fort which rises above the city and is the essence of Jaisalmer.Later in the early evening, proceed to the sand dunes, to enjoy Camel Ride, view of the Sunset over the dunes followed by a campfire barbeque dinner and Rajasthani Folk dance and music. After our desert experience, we return back to Jaisalmer City. Overnight in Jaisalmer.

DAY 06  JAISALMER – JODHPUR (2 NIGHTS) (280 KMS, APPROX 5.30 HRS) 

After early breakfast leave for Jodhpur – Blue City of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is at the edge of the Thar Desert and is the largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur. The city is dominated by a massive fort, topping a sheer rocky ridge right in the middle of the town. The old city of Jodhpur is surrounded by 10 kms long wall, built about a century after the city was founded. From the fort, you can clearly see where the old city ends and the new begins. It’s fascinating to wander around the jumble of winding streets in the old city, out of which eight gates lead. Jodhpur is affectionately referred to as the ‘Blue City’ because of the indigo-coloured houses in the old town. These can be seen from the ramparts of the mighty Mehrangarh, which looms high above the buzzing city.On Arrival in Jodhpur, visit Mehrangarh Fort which includes Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Pool Mahal, Rang Mahal, Silah Khana, Daulat Khana. Evening at leisure to explore the local markets on own. Overnight in Jodhpur

DAY 07  JODHPUR 

After breakfast, experience the Bishnoi Village Tour including Jeep ride. Bishnoi Village Safari is the organization started by Rajas and Maharaja’s of Jodhpur to show that Indian and foreign guest a glimpse of rich cultural life around their state of Marwar. Also in the village is the Guda Bishnoi Lake. It is a natural lake, perfect as a picnic spot. The Bishnoi community inhabits the village. The villagers are staunch worshippers of nature in all its forms, specially the sanctity of plant and animal life. They even pray to the green trees and animals that inhabit their land. In this world of exploitation everywhere, they make every effort to conserve the environment.  Later visit Umaid Bhavan Palace and Museum. Umaid Bhawan Palace can qualify for several firsts: the largest private residence in the world, the finest extant example of art-deco, the only palace to have painting from the Ramayana painted by a Polish artist, the first to use air-conditioning, electricity and elevators, and the most impressive for its size and dimensions. Overnight in Jodhpur.

DAY 08  JODHPUR – UDAIPUR VIA RANAKPUR (3 NIGHTS) (250 KM. APPROX. 5HRS. 30MIN) 

After breakfast, proceed to Udaipur – White City of Rajasthan. Enroute visit Ranakpur a serene village in the Pali district of Rajasthan. Ranakpur is known for its Jain temples, undoubtedly the most beautiful & best preserved of Jain temples in India. The Adinath temple constructed in 1433 is an extraordinary example of intricate Jain architecture. This is a magnificent ensemble of marble halls & corridors and is crowned by intricately carved domes reaching out skywards.

Later proceed for Udaipur – one of the most romantic cities in all of Rajasthan, Udaipur is better known as the city of lakes. The marble palaces, the beautiful gardens and the placid blue lakes enhance the beauty of this city. It was founded in 1568 by Maharana Udai Singh II. The Lake Palace is certainly the best late example of this unique cultural explosion, but Udaipur is full of palaces, temples and havelis ranging from the modest to the extravagant. It’s also proud of its heritage as a centre for the performing arts, painting and crafts. . We round up the evening with a quintessential Sunset boat ride at Lake Pichola .Overnight in Udaipur

DAY 09  UDAIPUR – SIGHTSEEING   

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Udaipur. Visit Jagdish Temple City Palace Complex, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon ki Bari. Saheliyon Ki Bari is one the most beautiful gardens and a major tourist destination in Udaipur. The garden is famous for its lush green lawns, marble art and fountains. English translation of Saheliyon Ki Bari means “Garden of maids”. Udaipur City Palace is one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan, located peacefully on the banks of Lake Pichola. This majestic City Palace is the most-visited tourist attraction of Udaipur and often distinguished as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. City Palace boasts of the wonderful blend of Medieval, European and Chinese Architecture. City Palace is a marvellous assortment of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. In the evening we visit Bagore ki Haveli Museum, followed by Dharohar dance show. Overnight in Udaipur

DAY 10 UDAIPUR – EXCURSION TO KUMBALGARH

Today drive to one of the most exotic Fort cities of India, Kumbhalgarh. Upon reaching, visit the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort – the pride of the Mewar Empire. The Fort’s thick wall stretches 36 kms and many call this fort as the Indian equivalent to the Great Wall of China, also the second longest wall in the world. Overnight in Udaipur.

DAY 11 UDAIPUR– DELHI/MUMBAI BY FLIGHT – BACK TO HOMETOWN

Today, check out from the hotel and proceed to Udaipur Airport to board your flight to Delhi/ Mumbai. Arrive at Delhi/Mumbai Domestic Airport and proceed to Delhi/Mumbai International Airport to board your flight back to hometown with lots of happy memories. Holiday Concludes.
